The aim of the present study texts should not be to replace extensive books on methodology which are referred to in References. It is a compilation of essential quotes from various sources by a large number of authors. The aim is thus to present numerous approaches to the basis of scientific work. Besides, it brings the area of methodology closer to students of faculties of sports studies.
